Rising Sun Martial Arts exists to help kids develop lasting confidence — the kind that carries them through anxiety, self-doubt, and bullying. We build that confidence through achievable challenges, positive coaching, meaningful recognition, and leadership opportunities as students grow. The vehicle is Filipino Martial Arts (Kali & Eskrima) — a structured, weapons-first system that lets kids feel real progress fast, in an environment where confidence is earned through action, not just encouraged with words. Founded in 2014 by Coach Neil — a U.S. Army Reserve counterintelligence veteran and black belt in three FMA styles who trained in the Philippines under grandmasters featured on the History Channel's Human Weapon. Teens and adults train on our floor too, in the same standing-based, low-injury system studied by Bruce Lee under Dan Inosanto.
